5 women headed households have received technical assistance and in two instances, NGUNI has built chicken/ducks scoop. All of them report being able to purchase their children’ school material by selling some of their animals. In 2021, Rosa Valente had a setback because her new neighbor decided to grow his crops in the neighborhood. She had to put her animals in enclosure thus reducing their capacity to feed and reproduce.
